Surge-Trap® K - K2 Series is a range of devices Type 2/Class II designed to protect against induced voltage surges (8/20 μs).

• Suitable as a second line of defense in situations where Type 1 protectors are already installed (such as in distribution boards) or as the first line of defense in settings like commercial buildings or homes that are not directly exposed to lightning strikes and do not have external lightning protection systems in place.
• Multi-certified range: IEC cert. (DEKRA & ENEC) and UL Type 1CA.
• Maximum discharge current (8/20 μs): 50 kA per phase.
• Nominal discharge current (8/20 μs): 20 kA per phase.
• TT, TNC, TNS and isolated IT earthing systems. 230/400 V, 277/480 V, 400/690 V networks.
