Capabilities

PTRV Setting Tools 3

During the overhaul, the CCD is completely disassembled to replace the necessary spare part kits to get a CCD ready to restart as new.
After the replacement of the parts, comes the critical phase of the setting of the High, the Low and the nominal positions and the checking of the pressure of the CCD against the third rail like indicated in the manual.
These operations are very important not to have a malfunction in the operations of the CCD which could have dramatic causes in the interactions with the third rail. These operations cannot be properly done without this tool.
